the Kerrisdale Veterinary Hospital we have four separate climate controlled
wards including a de
dicated cat ward and an isolation ward. We treat all
varieties of dogs and cats as well as exotic species. We have a full
service surgical theatre for many types of soft tissue and orthopedic surgery,
as well as ultrasonic dental scaling and polishing. Radiography (including
contrast), electrocardiography, ultrasonography (echocardiography and
abdominal scanning). Doppler blood
pressure measurement and radio surgery are on hand as is Digital Ocular Tonography. We employ Isoflurane inhalation
anesthesia (with a respirator) and monitor anesthetized patients by respiration and core
body temperature as well as pulse oximetry.
The
hospital also provides day-care and short or longer stay boarding as well as
full bathing and grooming facilities. We are also wheelchair accessible.
